Motor Max: Marque Triumphs for enthusiasts.
The Herald, Spitfire and Stag models are still revered by many, and if you take the equally-famous motorbikes into the equation, then you're never far from a Triumph fan club branch wherever you may live in the British Isles.
With 12,000 members, the Triumph Sports Six Club is the largest Triumph car enthusiasts club in the world, and is celebrating its silver jubilee.
When founded in 1977, the TSSC was, historically, only open to Herald and Spitfire-based cars, but it has now started welcoming all Triumph owners and enthusiasts.
The club has its own headquarters in Lubenham, Leicestershire, and membership facilities include car and memorabilia displays, a museum, an offers shop and a technical library. The HQ is open daily, and every other Saturday, from 9am to 4pm.
Further important benefits of TSSC membership include tailor-made insurance schemes for members' cars, a trade directory and special breakdown assistance.
For further information, call John Muggleton on 01858 434424, or log on to the website, www.tsscuk.com.
