Morrow stays cool.

SAMMY MORROW believes the title race is wide open ahead of the top of the table clash with Crusaders on New Year's Day.

The Linfield striker bagged his fifth goal of the season in the 2-1 Boxing Day win over Glentoran which kept the Blues four points ahead of the Crues.

Portadown are a further two behind and champions Cliftonville are now seven points adrift after losing their third game in their last four outings.

Morrow is excited about the months to come, but isn't getting carried away.

"This title race is wide open. We are where we want to be but we aren't even into January yet," said Morrow.

"There is no point in getting carried away but all we can do is try to beat whoever is put in front of us every week."

Ivan Sproule will miss the Crues clash - after being red-carded for removing his shirt to celebrate his winner against Glens.
