Morpho Detection wins TSA delivery order for CTX explosive detection systems.

Morpho Detection Inc (MDI), the explosives and narcotics detection business of Morpho, on Thursday announced that it has received a delivery order under a US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) new equipment contract.

The delivery order is for the company's CTX 9800 DSi and CTX 9400 DSi explosive detection systems (EDS) which are valued in excess of USD17m.

Under the terms of the contract 11 CTX 9800s and four CTX 9400s were delivered to John F Kennedy, Philadelphia International, Birmingham and Tallahassee airports during 2011, with the exception of two CTX 9400s.
