Rabat - Deputy Managing Director of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Alejandro Jara said, here Tuesday, that Morocco is an "important partner" of the organization in Francophone Africa.

A A A Speaking following a meeting with Secretary General of the Foreign Trade Ministry, Jara welcomed the awarding of a WTO chair to Mohammed V-Souissi University in Rabat, adding that it will further reinforce partnership relations between the two parties notably in the field of training and the organization of scientific events. A A A During the meeting, the two parties examined Morocco's trade policy and the means to further reinforce cooperation with a special focus on technical assistance.
