Kerry Hart has been named president of Morgan Community College in Colorado. Hart has been campus dean and CEO of the Alpine Campus of Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, Colo., since 2006. Prior to this position, he was dean of arts and humanities at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyo., from 2002 to 2006 and served as vice-president of arts and enrichment studies and dean of the Mohave Valley Campus for Mohave Community College in Bullhead, Ariz., from 2000 to 2002. He received his doctor of music education and higher education administration, as well as his master's of music in conducting and music literature from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo., and his bachelor of arts in music education from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
