Butterball is improving the deli counter with a new flavor and premium upgrades to its existing turkey and chicken deli products. Its new flavor, Naturally Roasted Thanksgiving Turkey Breast "allows consumers to enjoy the same first-class holiday taste in the deli all year long," say officials for the Garner, N.C.-based company.

The company's premium flavors are naturally roasted, American Heart Association certified, American Humane certified, produced with no nitrates or nitrites and are gluten-free, officials add. They are being introduced with redesigned packaging that highlights these benefits to the consumer.

"Consumers want wholesome deli products at a reasonable value, and that's exactly what we're delivering," says Michelle Lieszkovszky, deli brand manager for Butterball. "Our upgraded deli line provides consumers with a unique combination of benefits, demonstrating our continued commitment to providing higher-quality flavor the whole family will love."
