More evidence that Jesus existed; Letters letters@coventrytelegraph.net.

IN RESPONSE to the letter by Malcolm Graham ("There's no proof Jesus ever existed").

My reply is that there is every proof that Jesus existed.

He suggests that there is no other proof than the Bible, which I would contradict and say it is the living word of God, all the writers of which were inspired by the Holy Spirit which came at Pentecost and without which there would be no Christian Church in existence.

But since he is not convinced by this, might I ask if he buys a daily newspaper? Look at the date - the year 2011 AD (Anno Domini).

The concise Oxford Dictionary tells us that this means: "In the year of our Lord, in the year of the Christian era."

Any date before the birth of Christ is called BC (Before Christ). Does he still find it difficult to believe that God came to earth in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ, and gave his life for him, for you andfor me? Muriel Stubbins, Shorncliffe Road, Coundon.
