More endorsement messages to President Ben Ali.

CARTHAGE, Sept. 12, 2009 (TAP) - Several sports structures, federations and associations expressed, in messages extended to President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali, the pride they take in the Head of State's submission of his candidacy for the 2009 presidential elections, responding in so doing to the call of duty and of the nation. <p>Aa

Signees of these messages stressed their determination to actively contribute to ensure success to the October 25, 2009 event so that it ushers in a new stage on the road of progress, reform and modernisation.

Authors of these messages paid tribute, on behalf of their members and affiliates, to President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali for the sustained support he has continuously provided to youth and sport, which helped Tunisian youth and sportspeople to distinguish themselves in regional and international sports events and hoist high the national banner. These messages were sent by:

- The Tunisian Taekwondo Federation,

- The Tunisian Federation of Motorcycling and Associated Activities,

- The Tunisian Rugby Federation,

- The Tunisian Rowing Federation,

- The Tunisian Federation of School and University Sport,

- The Tunisian Federation of Shooting,

- The Tunisian Weightlifting Federation,

- The Tunisian Table Tennis Federation,

- The Tunisian Volleyball Federation,

- The Tunisian Gymnastics Federation,

- Club Athletique Bizertin,

- Grombalia Sports,

- Club Sportif de Mahdia,

- Olympique du Kef,

- Union Sportive Monastirienne.

Other associations sent messages to the President of the Republic in which they express their joy and pride at the Head of State's candidacy for the presidential elections of next October, praising the gains and achievements made in Tunisia in all areas under President Ben Ali's wise leadership, as well as the presidential choices aimed to achieve comprehensive development, consecrate social justice and boost the democratic process, while ensuring glory and invulnerability to Tunisia.
