Peony Blossom room mist This had a lovely sweet-smelling scent which lasted long after being sprayed.

You only need a few light squirts to leave your home with a lovely, fresh floral smell.

My pick of the bunch, this scent was spot-on and not too overpowering and the bottle won't look out of place in your home.

Overall, a great product and, despite being a little bit more expensive, this will leave your home smelling of roses. Stars: Price: pounds 2.05 Available: Marks and Spencer Smart Price air freshener It's hard to detect what the scent is on this air freshener as it doesn't tell you on the very basic-looking bottle.

After a few sprays I detected a slight floral scent which reminded me of pot pourri.

However, the scent was barley detectable and didn't last long.

Lavender Breeze air freshener With an overpowering fragrance, just one or two sprays of this is enough to refresh your home.

If you're a fan of lavender then this is right up your street but I found the spray a bit too highly-scented for my liking.

The bottle has a nice design of lavender flowers and should last for a good while, depending on how often you use the spray.

Great value for money and worth picking up on your next shopping trip. Stars: Price: 59p Available: Aldi Purple Blossom air freshener This had a lovely refreshing scent that will leave your home smelling pleasant.

You only need a few sprays and the fragrance lingers for quite a while.

Great to have handy in your cupboard for when you want to freshen up your home.

I also liked that this product is good value for money and the bottle design is decent enough.
