Moore the merrier.

Chester ..............17 Darlington...........13 CHESTER stayed third in National Three North League with a hard earned win over Darlington MP.

The game had to be transferred to the Vet's pitch and it was heavy going for the players.

Defences dominated before Chester clinched victory via an Andy Moore touch down following a rolling and Rhys Hayes converted for good measure.

* COLLEGIATE'S 1st XV were without a game on Saturday due to the withdrawal of Buxton from the league but the 2nd XV continued excellent form with a 12-10 victory away at Ruskin Park to remain top.

However, there was no joy for the 3rd XV as they fell 26-0 at Wirral.
