Moooving experience; FIREFIGHTERS RESCUE BULL TRAPPED DOWN A RAVINE.
OH holy cow... this bull caused nothing but udder chaos for his owner at the weekend when it went missing from a field.
The farmer called the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who found the animal had fallen down a chasm in the Glens of Antrim.
Watch Commander Hugh McGill said: "We got a call from his owner on Friday who noticed he was missing.
"He thought it had broken away and strayed into another field.
"But we went looking for it and it was down the ravine."
Mr McGill called the Large Animal Rescue Team who travelled to the scene of the animal, which had suffered an injury, from Omagh.
He added: "They arrived and we managed to get the animal out using a net.
"A vet was also on site to help with the bull. He had a broken leg."
The stricken animal had to be sedated for the team to drag it back to safety.
Commander McGill revealed: "The farmer was delighted to have his bull back."
A spokesman for the NIFRS said: "The NIFRS rescued a bullock after it fell a considerable distance into a ravine at the weekend.
"It is thought it may have been there for sometime - perhaps a week.
"NIFRS were assisted by the specialist animal rescue team from Omagh Fire station."
