Moody's announces new CD-ROM product.
Moody's Investors Service has introduced its latest CD-ROM offering, Moody's Company Data. Company Data combines the information found currently on Moody's 500 plus and OTC plus products onto one disc and adds to it Moody's newly developed searching and reporting software, MoodEASE.
Updated monthly, Moody's Company Data replaces and automatically upgrades service to subscribers of 500 plus and OTC plus.
Easy to use, powerful and functional, MoodEASE was designed to allow even the first time user to get the information he or she needs--whether by accessing a Moody's company report or performing a search of the database. Printing of full or customized reports, or exporting financials to spreadhseet software is done with a few simple keystrokes, guided by menu prompting on the screen.
Moddy's Company Data covers over 10,000 U.S. public companies. Included are all companies traded on the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange, NASDAQ NMS, NASDAQ, plus thousands of other OTC (pink sheets) and regional exchange listed.
Since 1900, Moody's has provided information on U.S. and foreign corporations and on more than 15,000 municipal and government entities. Moody's provides detailed business and financial information including descriptions of business, products, company history, long-term debt, ratings, officers and directors, news reports, and more. It is used by securities analysts, reference professionals, investment bankers, portfolio managers, credit analysts and strategic planners.
Moody's Company Data requires PC-DOS or MS-DOS version 3.0 and higher with 64ok RAM. A CD-ROM drive is included as part of the service.
Moody's Company Data is being sold separately or packaged with Moody's Manuals at prices ranging from $2,500 to $6,000, depending on update frequency elected. The product is available at special discounted prices to current Moody's Manuals customers. Discounted pricing is also available for multiple purchases, and to public and academic libraries.
