Monsanto Japan Limited.

Monsanto Japan Limited (MJL), Monsanto's Japanese subsidiary, installed two fully-automated MDR 2000 rheometers for on-line quality assurance testing at Toyo Tire & Rubber's Sendai, Japan plant. Toyo said it intends to introduce the system to all of its tire factories, stating that it will dramatically improve productivity and allow the tire maker to achieve tighter quality control of its rubber mixing operations. Toyo has three major plants in Japan, and has technical affiliations with Continental AG of Germany, and its U.S. subsidiary, General Tire.
