Monroe look alike adds spice to Royal Enclosure at Ascot.

THE Queen joined race goers at Royal Ascot yesterday as the annual sporting and social occasion got under way.

In blazing sunshine, punters packing the Berkshire course, saw the Queen arrive by traditional horse drawn carriage, dressed in a canary yellow outfit, and accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and Prince Michael of Kent.

High society members of the Royal Enclosure were doing double takes when Marilyn Monroe sauntered onto the exclusive lawns area this year.

Suzie Kennedy, who impersonates the blonde bombshell for a living, dressed up as the screen icon for a day at the races.

Wearing a plunging tight red sequinned dress, split to the thigh, and diamonds around her neck, she said she was hoping for an encounter with the Royals.
