Monorail Launches Three New Systems Featuring MMX Technology Starting at $999

Monorail Models 7400, 7500 and 200LSe Deliver Improved Audio Capabilities
 And Better Features at Attractive Prices


ATLANTA, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Monorail Inc., a leading provider of high-quality PCs for the home and office, today announced three new Monorail PC products. The new systems, the Monorail Model 7400, Monorail Model 7500 and Monorail Model 200LSe, feature the latest MMX multimedia processing technology, as well as the new Monorail Enhanced Based Audio System (EBAS), that significantly improves audio performance. The new Monorail PCs employ the trademark Monorail design that utilizes just 20 percent of the desktop space of a traditional PC and monitor. The new models are now shipping to retailers and distributors nationwide.

Monorail Model 7400 Product Specifications

The Monorail Model 7400 is equipped with a 166MHz processor with MMX technology, 16MB EDO RAM (upgradeable to 80MB), an 16X CD-ROM, 1.6GB hard drive, 33.6Kb modem, stereo speakers, an integrated SVGA color LCD screen and the Enhanced Based Audio System. The Monorail Model 7400 is priced at $999.

Monorail Model 7500 Product Specifications

The Monorail Model 7500 features the more powerful 200MHz processor with MMX technology, 16MB EDO RAM (upgradeable to 80MB), a 16X Max CD-ROM, 3GB hard drive, 33.6Kb modem, stereo speakers, Enhanced Based Audio System and an integrated SVGA color LCD screen. The Monorail Model 7500 is priced at $1,299.

Monorail Model 200LSe Product Specifications

The new Monorail Model 200LSe is the most powerful Monorail PC. It is equipped with a 200MHz processor with MMX technology, 32MB EDO RAM (upgradeable to 80MB), a 16X Max CD-ROM, 3GB hard drive, 33.6Kb modem, Enhanced Based Audio System and an integrated 12.1" double-bright SVGA color LCD screen. The Monorail Model 200LSe is priced at $1,799.
