Mongolia's honorary consul declared honorary member of Macedonian Writers Association.

Mongolia's Honorary Consul to the Republic of Macedonia, Litov Namdag Janchivin, has been declared an honorary member of the Writers Association of Macedonia. The Association took this decision in sign of respect for his outstanding contribution to promoting Macedonian literature in Mongolia and encouraging closer cooperation between the Macedonian and Mongolian cultures. He was also awarded a plaque by the President of the Writers Association of Macedonia, Vele Smilevski.

Litov Namdag Janchivin is a translator, architect and painter, a longtime collaborator of the Struga Poetry Evenings, for which he prepared the Anthology of Contemporary Mongolian Poetry. His translations have been included in the well-known Pleiades edition of the Struga Poetry Evenings. Litov Namdag Janchivin has long been closely cooperating with the Writers Association of Macedonia, contributing translations as well as his own poems in Mongolian and Macedonian. He has translated into Mongolian the poetry of a number of Macedonian poets including Konstantin Miladinov, Koco Racin and Blaae Koneski.
