Moncur fury.

JOHN MONCUR claimed he was head-butted in the incident which led to him being sent off in West Ham's 3-0 FA Cup third round victory at Macclesfield.

The Hammers were 2-0 ahead when Moncur was hauled from a mass brawl by referee Jeff Winter and shown the red card after the official pointedly twice flourished the yellow card in the midfielder's face.

West Ham, whose first two goals were scored by Jermain Defoe, went on to score again with 10 men through Joe Cole.

But it was the flare-up near the end which could cause the Football Association to look again at the match video.

Moncur said: "I was booked twice, head-butted and then sent off in the same incident."
