Modelo Especial found in bottles

According to the Gambrinus Importing Co., Modelo Especial will be packaged in new 12-oz., non-returnable bottles beginning in September. The brand is currently available only in cans.

"The new bottle makes the product highly visible at retail locations," noted Hal Gronfein, Modelo products manager, Gambrinus, "Its unique shape - a modified longneck - and foil wrap gives Modelo Especial an upscale image."

According to Gronfein, the brand will be available in six-packs and will also be introduced at selected on-premise locations.
