Mobile video.

March Networks of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, has launched a new solution for mobile video deployments on buses, subways, light rail, and freight rail. The system includes R5 Mobile Suite Release 1.0, software that provides automated wireless video extraction and enterprisewide management for monitoring and maintaining the video surveillance network. It also features the 5412 Mobile Digital Video Recorder, which was designed for exceptional video quality and increased storage capacity. The unit features 12 video inputs, IP camera support, a recording rate of up to 240 frames per second, and up to 1.5 terabytes of hard-disk storage. The system can also serve as a platform for other applications such as video analytics and passenger information services. 104
