Mitsui appoints Newmark for 100,000 sf assignment.

Mitsui Fudosan (New York), Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based Mitsui Fudosan, the world's largest real estate company, has named Newmark Real Estate Services leasing agent for its flagship building at 1251 Avenue of the Americas.

Newmark has been given exclusive responsibility for leasing the building's premiere tower floors - 51, 52 and 53 - along with portions of floors 41 and 48.

Floors 51 through 53, which comprise a contiguous block of 100,000 square feet, were built exclusively for the executives of the Exxon Corporation

at a time when the firm was ranked the Fortune # I company in the world.

Newmark's President Barry Gosin is leading the leasing team that also includes Executive Director Jeffrey A Rosenblatt and Director Jesse L. Rubens.
