Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. Names General Manager of Transportation Systems; Art Nagy Promoted to Lead MEPPI Division.

WARRENDALE, Penn. -- Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. (MEPPI) has named Art Nagy general manager of its transportation systems division.

Nagy will be responsible for all of the company's transportation systems activities, including a new locomotive service facility that will be established next year. Prior to his promotion to the new position, Nagy was manager of MEPPI's component sales and repair services division.

"Over the past 18 months, Art has helped us develop and expand our transportation systems division," said J.E. "Jack" Greaf, MEPPI's president and CEO. "He has nearly 35 years of experience in the transportation and power industries, and is ideally suited to increase our participation in this sector."

Before joining Mitsubishi Electric in 2003, Nagy worked for Bombardier Transportation, Magnetek and Westinghouse. He holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, and performed post-graduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University.
