Mitsubishi's new one tonne stacker. (Plant & Equipment).

Mitsubishi have introduced a compact one tonne stacker to further extend a range which already comprises pedestrian, platform and stand-on models in capacities up to 2000kg. The SBP10K features an ergonomic tiller arm that ensures all controls are neatly grouped around the driver's hands and at both sides for left and right handed operation. Accurate manoeuvers in confined areas are possible with the compact powerhead of only 688mm, and the narrow chassis of 800mm.

The SBP10K comes with a choice of two masts: a simplex design, with a lifting height up to 1500mm, and a duplex mast - without free lift - that raises a load to a maximum height of 2900mm.

As a means of reducing downtime Mitsubishi has put particular emphasis on easy access for service checks and routine maintenance. No special tools are required and a battery system enables rapid battery exchange. The SBP10K is particularly suited to medium-duty operation with up to 50 metres travel and, like all Mitsubishi warehousing equipment, it features a robust construction.
