Mistral Introduces the Newest Tool in the Anti-Terrorism Arsenal.

BETHESDA, Md. -- Mistral Security, Inc. (MSI), a leading supplier of law enforcement and military security products and services, announced that the newest tool in an anti-terrorism arsenal (GSPR: Gun Shot Powder Residue Test Kit), will be on display at the upcoming 113th Annual IACP Conference, October 14th through 17th in Boston, Massachusetts. The GSPR Test Kit, along with other Mistral products, will be on display in MSI booth #1066.

Similar to the field proven technology used for Expray[TM] - an Explosive Detection & Identification Test Kit which has been labeled as 'mission critical' by soldiers in the field - GSPR was designed for use by law enforcement officers dealing with suspects in a criminal investigation as well as soldiers on the battle field.

GSPR is a simple, quick three (3) step test that provides immediate results to the question: "Did this suspect fire a gun?" This kit acts as a presumptive field test and includes sealed bags and collection gloves to ensure no contamination before or after suspect testing. The sealed bags also ensure 'chain of custody' evidence controls. The kit, like all other Mistral Detection & Identification Test Kits, is safe, easy to use and accurate.

Mistral Security, Inc. (MSI) -- part of Mistral Group, a leader in Defense and Law Enforcement markets -- is a pioneer in explosive detection, identification, mitigation, and containment. Setting the world standards for explosive mitigation and containment, MSI systems are approved by GSA and the Department of Defense Explosive Safety Board (DDESB). MSI's core expertise involves explosive containment systems, ballistic hard line protection, explosive & drug detection and perimeter intrusion/detection systems. In addition to MSI's bomb-mitigating trash receptacles and BlastSafe (fully contained explosive systems); MSI manufactures and sells Expray[TM], an explosive detection and identification kit. Expray[TM], the most effective solution for US military on and off the battle field for explosive detection and identification. Because of its portability, ease of use and low cost, the soldiers and their procurement officers have designated Expray[TM] as 'mission critical'.
