Mission launched at church.

A NEW evangelical mission is being launched in Wrexham today.

The Church Army Centre of Mission in North Wales will be launched in partnership with the Diocese of St Asaph at St Mark's Church Caia Park.

Mission leaders say the aim is to establish new expressions of church and engage with local communities using evangelism.

The Bishop of the Diocese of St Asaph, Gregory Cameron, was delighted. "The Centre of Mission is a welcome and inspiring initiative, bringing together the commitment of the diocese to be a witness to Jesus Christ with the enthusiasm and expertise of Church Army in evangelism," he said.

Church Army Chief Executive, Mark Russell, said: "I am delighted in this partnership between Church Army and the Diocese of St Asaph."
