Mission Research Corp., Santa Barbara, Calif., is being awarded a $ 9,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery requirements contract for research and development related to the effects of radiation on semiconductor devices, non-volatile memories and power integrated circuits. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total contract value to $45,000,000. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M. (75 percent), and Santa Barbara, Calif. (25 percent), and is to be completed by May 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet with two proposals received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-02-D-6599).
