Missing `murder dog' Sash a back with family.
Little Benjamin Hepworth, seven, said all he wanted to do now was to play with his pal Sasha, who went missing 18 months ago and then found herself at the centre of a murder investigation.
Former boxer Brian Keating was beaten to death with a sledgehammer and a baseball bat by a gang in Pontefract,West Yorkshire.
Detectives had little but circumstantial evidence to go on but then American scientists were able to link dog hairs found on Mr Keating's body to others found in a van belonging to one of the key suspects, Daniel McGowan.
Police tracked down McGowan's bull mastiff dog. She was taken to a vet where an ID chip was discovered which showed it was not McGowan's dog.
It belonged to Alan Paterson, 24,from Gipton, Leeds and his three young children,Benjamin,Jordan, and Kelsie.
