Miss M; THE WORLD'S FEISTIEST AGONY AUNT GETS TO THE HEART OF YOUR PROBLEMS.
Recently my boyfriend has become a lot more loving. We've been together two years and he used to rarely tell me he loved me and would go a day or two without calling. Now he texts all the time, hangs on my every word and always wants to hold hands or kiss. I like the attention but I'm worried it could get a little annoying. How do I adapt?
Miss M says: There's women reading this thinking, 'What is she complaining about?' But if you've always had an easy-going, no-public-displays-of-affection relationship, of course it's going to be disconcerting if he's suddenly pawing at you all the time. Another section of people are probably thinking, 'Affair!' - but I don't reckon so. I think he's just suddenly realised you're The One. Most men are simple beings and once they get an idea in their head, they go with it. It's cute really. That said, you fell in love with him the way he was, so if the constant lovey-doviness is getting on your nerves, tell him. Say you don't need to hold hands all the time to know how you feel about him. Just knowing it is enough.
