TRURO Jobcentre Plus is hosting a Recruitment Day on Saturday November 8, offering people the chance to discuss and apply for career opportunities throughout Cornwall. There will be jobs on offer at all levels from apprenticeships to managers with companies such as Happy Days Nurseries. The event runs from 10am till 3pm. Call 01872 355123.

BRITISH Energy, Next, Chapman Computer Systems and Corporation Pop, the developers behind virtual world Second Life, are among the exhibitors taking place in the online National Student and Graduate Recruitment Fair, from November 10 till December 12. IF you haven't sorted out that Christmas job then Royal Mail still want seasonal staff, mainly to work as sorters during December.

It is holding recruitment events across the south west and says no formal qualifications are needed. Take either your passport (or residence visa) or originals and photocopies of full birth certificate and official proof of your National Insurance number, plus proof of residence (utility bill, driving licence or bank statement) and one recent passport-sized photograph. The events are:

November 6 - Taunton Delivery Office in Chip Lane, between 8.45 am and 12.30pm November 7 - AFC Bournemouth Fitness First Stadium from 9am till midday, and 1pm till 3pm

November 10 & 14 - Bristol Rovers FC, 8.45am till 12.30pm
