THE autumn round of Job Scene exhibitions begins on September 21 at Reading Town Hall, where doors will open from 10.30am till 7pm for a show featuring more than 30 exhibitors, including big names such as Nike, Prudential, NatWest, Barclays Bank and T-Mobile.

A SERIES of childcare recruitment and training fairs is being held across the East of England. These events, organised by the Early Years and Childcare Development Partnership and Jobcentre Plus, begin today at the Swan Hotel in Bedford High Street from 10am till noon, and then at Dunstable Leisure Centre from 1pm till 3pm. Tomorrow, the action moves to the Harpers Centre in Bedford, where a fair is being held from 10.30am till 2.30pm.

These fairs will offer information about career and training opportunities to lone parents and the general public, and you can find out more by calling 01234 228555.

IN Harlow, Essex, ski specialist Crystal Holidays is offering both temporary and permanent opportunities for 20 sales executives, who must have a good telephone manner and excellent communication skills. CHRISTMAS recruitment gets into full swing throughout the coming week. More than 300 full and part-time jobs with some 40 local employers are on offer at a fair being held in the Shire Hall in Here ford on September 20, from 10am till 4pm.
