Miriam adds glam to art competition; BOOK OF KELLS.
Byline: MIRROR REPORTERSHE's used to bringing polticians to book but yesterday stunning RTE presenter Miriam O'Callaghan had another book on her mind.
The mother of eight was at Trinity College Dublin to award prizes to the overall winners of the Boyne Valley Honey Book of Kells National Art Competition.
The five-month-long contest involved primary, secondary, and third-level students and adults submitting a work of art based on The Book of Kells.
Amanda Dillon from Chapelizod in West Dublin was named adult winner.
She said before the announcement it was "worse than if I was starring on the X Factor".
Josh Joyce, a student at Drogheda Grammar School, won the secondary school category. Sixth class at St Brigid's School in Killester, North Dublin, topped the primaries.
