SOHBATPUR -- The former Balochistan Minister Mir Izhar Khan Khoso while talking to the media said that the shortage of water has intensified in Nasirabad Division as the province of Balochistan is not being provided water according to its share. He added that Pat Feeder Canal and other branches are not getting sufficient water from Sindh due to which agricultural lands at hundreds of acres in Nasirabad division have become barren. The growers will also not be able to cultivate their lands for the next season if the steps are not taken to increase supply of water from Guddu Barrage and Sukkur Barrage. He also urged the member of Balochistan in IRSA to play his role and brief the Balochistan CM Jam Kamal on how much the conditions are worsening in the province due to shortage of water. He also expressed concern over the unannounced load shedding and demanded of the power companies to facilitate the people of Balochistan.
