Minister of Defence Arrives in Juba to Participate at AU Workshop for Setting Interim Zero Line between Sudan and South Sudan.

Juba, Nov. 13 (SUNA)- The Minister of Defence, Gen. Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, Wednesday afternoon arrived in Juba, the capital of South Sudan State, to take part at the Workshop of the African Union for Setting the Interim Zero Line between Sudan and South Sudan State.

He was received at Juba Airport by the Minister of Defence of South Sudan.

In a statement upon arrival in Juba, Gen. Hussein said that he will discuss with South Sudan party implementation of the Cooperation Agreement and outome of the recent summit between Presidents Al-Bashir and Salava Kiir.

He said that the upcoming talks in Juba would push ahead the quick implementation of the agreements.

The Minister of Defence is accompanied by the Chairman of the Armed Forces Intelligence, Gen. Siddiq Amer.
