Matt, who now lives in Normanton, near Wakefield, said: "Hopefully the book will benefit children and get them interested in reading. "A4e were a tremendous help.

There put us in touch with Middlesbrough FC and gave us advice on marketing and promoting.

"Middlesbrough is a quite a niche market and we want to branch out, so we decided on the space theme for the third book.

"One day I hope to go back to Huddersfield and put the book in my old school.

"I'm proud Tellatale has gone to the next stage. I'm nervous, but optimistic about what's next and ready for whatever challenge comes."

Mr Balls said: "I was really impressed by their professionalism and I'm confident this won't be the last we hear of Tellatale."
