Minister Poposki meets NATO Parliamentary Assembly delegation.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Poposki, met a delegation of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly on 27 June. The delegation's visit occurred in the run-up to the NATO Summit in Warsaw, Poland, on 8-9 July.
The process of Euro-Atlantic integration of the Republic of Macedonia and the country's progress in conducting reforms were tabled at the meeting, at which the commitment and readiness of the Republic of Macedonia to join the Euro-Atlantic family were reconfirmed. Deputy PM and FM Nikola Poposki stressed that the political and social consensus on Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic integration was a continuous process. Macedonia's full-fledged membership of NATO and the European Union and the development and promotion of good-neighborly relations are strategic and long-term goals of Macedonia's foreign policy. Opinions on the political and security situation in the Euro-Atlantic region and the regions facing security challenges were also shared.
