6/10 LIDL SNOWY LODGE LUXURY MINCE PIES PS1.49 for 6 Tasted of apples and cinnamon rather than mince pies. Delicious but not very Christmassy.
7/10 SAINSBURY'S TASTE THE DIFFERENCE MINI ALL BUTTER MINCE PIES, PS2.50 for 9 Lovely buttery pastry, and a citrusy flavour to the filling. One is not enough!
8/10 ALDI LUXURY HANDCRAFTED MINCE PIES, PS2.99 for 6 We loved the frangipane topping on these as well as the deep filling and yummy pastry base.
8/ ALDI ALMOND MINCE PIES, PS1.99 for 6 These are a great alternative to a classic pie, with a nice marzipan flavour.
5/10 TESCO'S FINEST DEEP FILLED MINCE PIES, PS2 for 6 Quite a strong boozy taste, but there wasn't enough filling and they were a bit dry.
The WINNER MORRISONS FRESHLY BAKED LUXURY MINCE PIES PS2.50 for 4 These were the clear winner! Lots of tasty mincemeat and perfectly crisp pastry.
