Milly quiz suspect released.
Byline: CHRIS HUGHESTHE man being quizzed over the disappearance of schoolgirl Milly Dowler was released on police bail yesterday afternoon.
Police said the 36-year-old suspect had not been charged and must report to them at a later date.
Earlier a specialist search team moved into the rundown guesthouse where he lived.
Two police vans arrived at 8am and the 12 man squad began searching the back garden and house.
Floorboards were taken up in every room.
Forensic experts bagged up several items and took them for examination.
Working behind a large screen, they took apart the inside of a garage.
A skip outside was emptied and the contents - bricks and wooden debris from inside the house which is being renovated - bagged and taken away.
The house in Chertsey, Surrey, is four miles from Milly's home in Walton-on-Thames.
The 13-year-old - real name Amanda - was last seen eight weeks ago walking home from the station.
