Milliken acquires Kasbar National.
Milliken nonwovens help make bedding and furniture safer and more fire-resistant, automobile interiors more attractive, quieter and durable, and filtration more effective. With the acquisition of Kasbar, Milliken expands its presence in nonwoven materials for the automotive market and adds quilting and fiberfill capabilities for the fire-resistant furniture and bedding markets.
Kasbar's products are used in a variety of industries, including. apparel, footwear, protective clothing, military clothing, automotive, healthcare, filtration, furniture, bedding and home products.
