Miller rolls out Reserve Ale nationwide.

Miller Reserve Amber Ale, the latest addition to the Miller Brewing Co.'s line of "specialty" brands, will now be available nationally. The product, which is brewed with 100-percent barley and an English ale yeast, will be available in draught form throughout the U.S.

Jerry Schmutte, Miller's director of allied brands, also said that Reserve Ale is available in both kegs and bottles in Georgia. Miller became the first major brewer to offer a U.S.-brewed ale in recent memory when Reserve Ale was introduced in 19 states on April 5.

"Beer drinkers in our initial markets have responded very positively to Reserve Ale," said Schmutte. "That, coupled with the demand for the product from our distributors, has prompted us to make Miller Reserve Amber Ale available to beer drinkers everywhere who enjoy flavorful beers.

"Miller's brewmasters have combined the ale-brewing process with the richness of an all-barley recipe to create a world-class ale," Schmutte continued. "We're confident that Reserve Ale, with its distinctive ale flavor and deep amber color, will continue to grow and compete successfully in the growing U.S. specialty beer market."
