Miller, Fox network combined for PSA.

Fox Broadcasting Co. and Miller Brewing Co. have joined forces in an attempt to combat the problem of underage drinking by producing public service announcements featuring John Walsh, host of the network's series, "America's Most Wanted."

The endeavor is the first time Miller has worked with a national broadcaster to convey responsible drinking messages. The PSAs remind viewers that the legal drinking age is 21 and that underage drinking should stop.

The first message with Walsh aired over the Memorial Day weekend. The 15-second spot was the first of a series to be broadcast during the summer's major holiday weekends.

"John Walsh has an enormous amount of credibility," explained Robert Ward, Miller's director of advertising. "Using him as a spokesperson really helps us get our message across, and |America's Most Wanted' is a great vehicle."

Jon Nesvig, senior vice president of sales for Fox, said, "We were delighted to join Miller in helping to raise awareness of this serious problem. Our programs are heavily watched by viewers in this age group, and we are proud to have John Walsh as our spokesperson."
