Milk versus price of beer.

I MAY be a little facetious when considering the current furore over the price of milk paid to farmers by the big companies. At the Brotton W M Club, I pay PS2.10 for a pint of beer, whereas a couple of days ago I paid Asda 75p for two pints of milk.

Thinking about the difference - it takes me approx 30 minutes to drink my beer but the milk lasts my wife and myself some three to four days, so I think the breweries are making very huge profits!

I have to conclude that both of us would quite happily pay much more for our milk - over to you, the big businesses.
