BEIRUT: Sporadic showers are expected across Lebanon Wednesday, according to the Meteorological Department at the Rafik Hariri International Airport. "The general atmosphere is that the weather is unstable; [there will be] sporadic rain that will strengthen during the night [Tuesday]," a source at the department told The Daily Star. "But there won't be heavy rains."
Wednesday's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with sporadic rain, lightning and thunder at times and a limited decrease in temperatures, according to the department's Tuesday morning forecast.
Temperatures Wednesday will range between 21 and 31 degrees along the coast, 17 and 24 in the mountains, 11 and 19 in the Cedars, and 15 and 30 in the Bekaa Valley.
"The rain will decrease Thursday," the department source said. Thursday will see partly cloudy skies, with the possibility of sporadic rain and thunder in the afternoon.
Temperatures are expected to rise slightly, ranging between 20 and 32 degrees along the coast, 16 and 26 in the mountains, 11 and 21 in the Cedars, and 14 and 32 degrees in the Bekaa.
