Mike Piazza Named Baseball's Sexiest Single All-Star; National Poll Lets America Decide Who are the Hottest Hunks On the Diamond.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE FEATURES)--July 9, 2001

Mike Piazza of the New York Mets has been voted as Baseball's Sexiest Single All-Stars, in a national poll conducted via Kiss.com. Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees came in second place.

Piazza (National League) and Jeter (American League) were chosen as the top vote recipients in their respective leagues. Over the past four days, 74,646 fans from throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan visited the Web site to cast their votes. All single players selected for this year's Major League Baseball All-Star Game were eligible. The vote totals:
