Midwest Air Group releases July traffic.


Midwest Air Group Inc has reported traffic results for July 2008 for its subsidiaries, Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connect.

The company's consolidated revenue passenger miles for the month decreased by 16.2% compared to July 2007, while available seat miles dropped by 11.7%, resulting in a load factor of 80.3%, a decrease of 4.3 percentage points.

Revenue passenger miles for Midwest Airlines dropped by 14.8% and available passenger miles decreased by 17.6%. Load factor for July 2008 was 4.3 percentage points lower than the same period last year at 82.2%.

Midwest Connect recorded a decrease in revenue passenger miles of 4.1% in July 2008 compared with July 2007. Available seat miles dropped by 4.9% and load factor was at 69.7%, 2.3 percentage points lower than July 2007.
