Company Growth

Micro System Designs, Inc., a leader in the data transfer technology industry for the past 11 years, today announced it has created a new division called MaxLock.com to increase the focus on its family of consumer Internet products. These unique and innovative products make a customer's online experience more efficient and secure. The company also announced that it has hired industry veteran Rick C. Garian as president and CEO to lead both the parent company and the new division.

"MaxLock.com's products make it incredibly easy for me to surf the Web and make purchases," said Dennis C. Cooney, president of Kensington Services Company. "Before, I had to remember my password for every site, which became an irritating task. Then when I wanted to register for a site or make a purchase, I had to fill in the same information time and time again. With products from MaxLock.com, all of these tasks are automatic, and I don't have to spend valuable time searching for the right password or inputting the same information. I'm pleased that they have created a new division to focus on these types of products that help me surf the Web more efficiently."

To increase the momentum the company has created, Micro System Designs has hired Rick C. Garian to lead the company as it enters a phase of accelerated growth. Garian brings more than 25 years of experience leading technology companies. Most recently he was COO and a board member of Computer Marketplace, Inc., a $30 million publicly-traded networking technologies company.

"Micro System Designs is poised to build momentum in computer security and browsing tools for e-commerce on the Internet, and I'm excited about the market opportunities," said Rick Garian, Micro System Designs president and CEO. "Our development teams in the U.S., India and Europe are producing world-class products. We are well-positioned to leverage our technology with marketing on the Internet to drive revenue growth and deliver products that are in demand by cyber surfers and shoppers."
