Mick takes the top prize as charity benefits.

DESPITE atrocious weather on the morning there was a good turnout of Glamorgan AC members for the club's charity match at Treoes Lake and PS370 was raised for the Cymorth I Cerys Trust.

Mick Frazer, from Bridgend, won a year's membership of the club when he topped the weights with 15lb 4oz of bream on feeder and maggots from peg two. Martin Giddy, from Barry, was five pegs along and finished in second position with 14lb 8oz and Bridgend member Brian Tandy was third with 13lb 5oz.

The biggest fish caught was Kevin Hunt's 10lb common carp; Bert Acland's 3.5lb fish was the biggest bream and the club's head bailiff Brian Dickman caught a 2lb perch.
