The Michigan senate has approved a plan that will cut motor insurance rates in the state.
On Tuesday, the senate passed legislation that removes a requirement that drivers should buy unlimited medical benefits to cover crash injuries. This will significantly reduce insurance rates for motorists.
Legislative stalemates have been blocking the move for the past few years.
