Michelob sees sunny sales days ahead.

Anheuser-Busch, Inc., and the Michelob family of beers hope that the thought of hot, sunny days this winter will help encourage increased sales during early 1993.

The promotion, scheduled for February, will offer a wide range of point-of-sale items, including a three-dimensional motion display for both on-premise accounts, or use as an end-aisle feature.

"Halfway through the winter, everyone needs a sunny reminder of the warmer days to come," said Jim Schumacker, Michelob family senior brand manager. "'Sun Days' helps reinforce our 'Some Days Are Better Than Others' theme, while helping to ensure that the Michelob family gets off to a fast start in 1993."

As part of the promotion, beer drinkers will have the opportunity to win all-expense-paid trips to Hawaii or a variety of second prizes, such as Michelob sun visors and sunglasses.
