Michael Rothschild Appointed to Ramtron Board of Directors.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 1996--U.S. semiconductor maker Ramtron International Corporation (Nasdaq:RMTR) announced effective October 24, 1996, the appointment of Michael Rothschild to the Company's board of directors. The appointment of Mr. Rothschild to this new board position brings the number of Ramtron board members to seven.

Michael Rothschild is president of the San Rafael, CA-based Bionomics Institute and is the author of "Bionomics: Economy as Ecosystem." Mr. Rothschild earned his MBA and law degrees from Harvard and began his professional career at the Boston Consulting Group. A noted speaker and columnist for several high-tech business magazines, including Upside, Mr. Rothschild also serves as a director of CyberCash, Inc., the leading developer of secure payment systems for Internet commerce. Most recently, he founded Maxager Technology, Inc. which develops software that helps optimize factory performance.
