Michael Fortune's Champion Stakes Verdict.

Following his excellent running in the English Derby, RAZLDAZL JAYFKAY is surely due a big pay-day and can justify his position as Irish Derby favourite. This draw looks ideal and he should have a nice clear path on the run-up. If he leads around the bend he will be more than halfway to victory. An outsider when winning his semi last week, Uncle Eoin will also go up well on his outside but would need to lead to prevail in this sort of company. Tyrur Domingo has an excellent draw and will benefit from last week's outing, his first race in two and a half months. He loves the rail but has a tendency to move off a little at the first bend. Ante-post favourite Broadstrand Lad didn't do himself justice last week when slowly into stride in the heats. He will surely come away faster this time and has the ability to lead all the way. Colorful Champ is another that recently returned to racing after injury and he ran a blinder when pushing the selection all the way in the semi. Kingo is a proven dog for the big occasion and the Hegarty 600 winner would be mighty dangerous if poised a few lengths off the pace down the far side.
