NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-30 October 2003-Metso Minerals receives orders for metal recycling equipment worth EUR23m(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Finnish process industry machinery and systems supplier Metso Corporation said on Thursday (30 October) that its subsidiary Metso Minerals had order for received metal recycling equipment of combined value of some EUR23m during the third quarter 2003.

The delivery to Yamanaka in Japan would comprise a complete shredder plant and the necessary equipment for de-dusting, as well as equipment for air classification, magnet separation and conveying of the shredded material.

Metso Minerals would also supply a plant for shredder residue processing to Tokyo Tekko KK (TTK), Hachinoe Works in Japan.

In the Netherlands, Metso Minerals had received an order for two scrap shears for Van Dalen scrap yards in Nijmegen and Niewerkerk a/d Ijssel.

One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.7 British pounds (GBP).
